Hi
everyone! I created this family tree website for all of the members of our
family to enjoy. Actually, it's more than just a family tree. It's a place where
we can preserve our family photos together in one place, remember those who have
died, and communicate with one another. This is a dynamic website which I hope
will be maintained and grow so future generations can enjoy it too after we're
gone. I dedicate this site to all of the members of this family who have passed
away. I hope this site will serve as a vehicle for those of us who are living to
remember them.
It's sad when a person dies
and nothing about their life remains. Not much is known about our distant
ancestors, but with today's modern technology, photos, and videos, detailed
information about a person's life can be maintained digitally forever. Those of
us who are alive today now have the opportunity to pass on this information
about ourselves to future generations. However, it's up to you to provide that
information. I hope you do, and I hope you all enjoy this site!
Below are a few simple
instructions to follow when using this site:
-
'Family pages' consist of a mother, father, their
wedding date, their children, their children's place of birth, and their birth
dates. A few photos of each family member will also be shown
if they are available.
Hyperlinks are in blue. So any name that's blue you can click on to go
further.
-
Clicking on the mother or father takes you back in time to
the past. It will lead to the parents and siblings of the mother or father.
-
Clicking on the children takes you forward towards the
present. It will lead to that child's
spouse and their children. If there is no link then that person has not married
and has no offspring. Try the biography link.
-
Click on Biography to learn more about that individual and to
see more photos of theirs if available.
-
In the case of a divorce and subsequent
marriages, these will be listed below the children. Click where indicated.
-
Question marks indicate missing information.
To begin:
-
Click on the links at the top of this page to
begin. You can start by clicking on the "names" link. Find your name on the list
and click on the page number nest to it. Or you can click on the "contents" link
to see the table of contents.
-
Be sure to click on the "chart"
link to see a giant web page with a beautiful flow chart of our family. It takes
a long time to download even with broadband, but it's worth the wait. (Still
working on the extended family part).
-
If you click on "Gaeta's", you will be taken to my
family page which is where the Tree Begins for me. Find where it begins for you
and save that page in your favorites.
-
You can extend the tree from there by
clicking on the "forms" link, fill in the forms and submit them. I'll do the
rest.
-
Click on
"photos" to learn about our
Family
Album.. It contains photo albums for everyone in the
family. Click on
Kodak
anywhere on this site and get a free photo album for all you photos.
-
Click on
"messages"
to go to the Family Bulletin Board where you can post messages for everyone to
see.
-
Be sure to click on the
"links" page to help
support this website.
I need your help!
I need information
and digital photos. The photos are what brings this site to life, so get
your old ones scanned into a computer, then click on the
photos link. I'm also
going to add videos at a later date once all the photos are on here. I
designed some forms to
make it easy for you to add new or missing information to this site, and to make
corrections to any mistakes which may be present.
I need you to write essays and fill in biography information for
the individuals listed here. I'll put it on the web if you'll write it! Please
use the forms to help me make this a better site. You can click on the "Form"
link at the top of each web page.
Thank you,
John Gaeta
